Williams Family Home Page
About our family. Welcome to our family home page.
We are a military family stationed in North Dakota. My husband, Doug, is in the Air Force and has been for the past 12 years. He really enjoys his job as a Munitions Inspector. I am a stay at home mom to two children, Casey age 8 and Dylan age 4, (not to mention our very spoiled 5 year old Shihtzu, Charlie).
We met on my birthday in 1986, we became friends immediately. We were stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. I went to England not long after we started dating in 1987. Doug came to visit me at Christmas, before he was due to be in Iceland. We got married in June of 1988 in Downham Market, UK. I got out of the Air Force in May of 89 and had our first child, Casey, in September 89. We were in Las Vegas, NV.
Doug worked with the Stealth for awhile in Tonopah. He has been to Saudi about 3 or 4 times (it's hard to keep track of when they're gone so much).
We went to Valdosta, GA in 92, which was really nice for me, since it was so close to home. We were there for almost 6 years.
We are currently stationed in North Dakota, which is good for Doug because he is close to home now. Being a southern girl in the snow is still taking a little getting used to, but so far it hasn't been bad.
Doug is originally from Minnesota. His hobbies (actually his passion) is fishing (if it swims and has fins, he will fish for it). He also enjoys skiing (he used to be a ski jumper EEK), camping, and almost all sports.
I am originally from Georgia and Florida. My hobbies are sewing, decorating, reading, and most crafts. None of which I seem to be finding much time for these days.
About Doug and Rhonda
About Casey, Dylan, and Charlie Casey (8), our daughter, is in the 2nd grade. She loves school, and is doing very well. She is very artistic, she can draw almost anything. She loves to watch the Discovery Channel, and keeps us informed of all of the new animals that she has learned. Casey and I rode together for 5 days on the trip to North Dakota. It's amazing how much an 8 year old child knows, and after 5 days I was very impressed and proud of my daughter. She loves Tweety, Reba McEntire, the Hansons, and the Spice Girls.
Dylan (4), our son, is very artistic as well. (I think that he watches and imitates his sister alot!) He stays home with me during the day, he keeps me on my toes! He will start Kindergarten this upcoming school year, he is so excited about it. Dylan likes Jurassic Park, Dinosaurs, and riding his bicycle.
